The Heart Behind the Mission
Live Like Jesus Today Ministries began with a single act of obedience. God placed it on the hearts of Buzz and Clifann Birney to create a ministry that would live out Christ’s command to love others as He loved us.
From handing out food and clothing to opening homes for the hurting, LLJTM has always been about relationships. We don’t just want to talk about Jesus — we want to be His hands and feet.
Meet Our Founders
Buzz and Clifann have spent decades following God’s call — sometimes into difficult places, always with faith that love changes everything. Their ministry began on the streets, expanded through discipleship, and continues to grow through the generosity and faithfulness of others who believe in the mission.
Their life verse, 1 John 2:6, says it best:
“Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did.”
